I was blessed to first meet and work with Jeff during a 90 day stay at The Refuge to treat my addiction. I soon learned from him that in order to treat my addiction, I had to name and face the traumas which were the underlying cause. Jeff is a therapist who lends you his ear but gives you his heart. His empathy is boundless but his sessions leave little room for client pity parties. His ability to distill, what sometimes feel like, insurmountable emotional mountains down to their essence so they can be dealt with realistically is uncanny. A few years after I left The Refuge I made the decision to return to treatment. My choice of the Augustine Recovery Center was based, in large part, on the fact that Jeff worked there. I could not have made a better choice and am so grateful for the time I have been able to spend with Jeff. I cannot recommend Jeff highly enough.
